The Chaos and Complex Systems (CCS) Symposium provides
the stimulus and focal point for nonlinear dynamical
systems research in Turkey, by organizing a specialized
bi-annual symposium. The symposium aims to be the
major factor in molding interdisciplinary perspectives,
fostering collaborations, stimulating research and
raising awareness of the most current research in
nonlinear science. The program sessions are chosen
to be highly- focused; no other conference in Turkey
can provide the same degree of sustained concentration
in this particular field of study.
The Istanbul Kultur University is honored to organize
this second symposium. The first symposium “
Kaos2006”
was attended by 300 participants discussing a vast
range of topics from economics, physics, fine arts
to mathematics.
The 2008 symposium will be
interdisciplinary and will cover such topics as chaos,
complex systems, fractals and nonlinear phenomena
in basic sciences, engineering, social and life sciences.
